Peggy Goldstein

I grew up in a small town in northern Ohio. I began my career as a Speech/Language Pathologist and became interested in the effects of language delays on academics. I completed my Master’s Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked with students with special needs from preschool to adulthood in Ohio, Virginia and Florida. I specialized in Early Childhood as a doctoral students and worked as the Disability Specialist for Head Start in Broward County.

After receiving my Doctorate, I began working as a faculty member in the Special Education Department at Florida Atlantic University. I primarily teach courses on language development, early childhood and inclusive education. My research has focused on vocabulary teaching and learning, early childhood education and inclusion.
